CASA CASTIGLIONCELLO

Casa Castiglioncello is a 300-year-old, isolated, Tuscan farmhouse.
It is located above the village of San Martino, on the mountain slope, approximately 200 meters above sea-leve, surrounded by meadows, fruit terraces, and the typical Mediterranean vegetation.
A very quiet position in the midst of a national park, "Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago Toscano".
You reach the complex from the main road, then turning and going about 1 km over a gravel road, partly very steep, which ends on the property of Casa Castiglioncello.

Far enough from mass tourism, but not too far from the capital of Elba island - Portoferraio (approximately 10 minutes by car) nor from the various beaches and villages of the island.

Casa Castiglioncello is managed from the association “PORTA APERTA” . In several periods of the year there are are carried out courses and seminaries (yoga, painting, ceramics etc.). In the other periods our house is opened to all the persons who wish to pass one vacation in a calm and natural atmosphere. Therefore we pray our hosts to join during the stay like temporary associate. The temporary adhesion does not involve some additional expense obligates or engagements of some kind.

Available for our guests are also two areas equipped for Yoga, both for personal use and to take part in our classes.
